Hello,

A financial crisis has caused me to sell my artwork, including these two original dynamic acrylic abstract paintings.

The photos do not do them justice, and when light shines upon them, they really pop.

An art gallery owner in Ojai told me that if I showed the blue painting in a gallery, I should list it at $900.

Hello,

The red, white and blue painting is my comedic take on a famous painting by Picasso. This painting

Offered for sale are two beautiful, New In Box, albums made by Once Upon A Family. The first one is their Childhood Cherished 9.5"x9" Precious Handprints Book (I believe the retail on this book alone was around $30). The other album included in the sale is an heirloom quality 13"x15" ribbon-bound "Our Family" filled with pages of a nice ivory cardstock-like paper. It would make an amazing family history and/or family reunion album. I do no recall the retail price on this, but I would guess around $50. Both of these would be lovely items for a gift or for yourself to record precious family memories. Even the handprints book would be great for everyone to do at a family reunion...it's not JUST for kids! :)

Gorgeous oil painting by Helmuth A. Volkwein.

I found this bio on an art auction site:
Helmuth Andreas Volkwein (Munich 1920 - Munich 2003) - German painter settled in Eglfing-Tauting. In the years 1934-1938 he studied graphic techniques, and studied painting after the war in the years 1946-1948 under the direction of Albert Fessler and Oswald Malura in Munich. He went on study trips to northern Italy and Tuscany. He painted landscapes and still lifes. He exhibited in Germany, Canada and Italy.

The painting is in great condition and measures 24x28 inches. I had it appraised by both Agra Art Auctions (Poland) and Bonhams, and it was appraised for $1000-$1800 (I have the emails). I'm asking $700. Please email all questions.
